Winter comes and goes every year and leaves all us women (and men) with the most difficult dilemma. How do we tackle our horrible dry flaky skin? If its not the freezing cold weather, it’s the central heating leaving our skins dry and damaged to the max.
Well, not for long folks, here is the complete guide on what products to use to save you from getting winter skin!
Tea Tree & Witch Hazel Charcoal Facial Scrub & Facial Wash (£4.50 – £4.69)
Before you can even apply any product to the face, cleaning out your skin is the top priority. Boots Tea Tree and Witch Hazel is fantastic at drawing out any impurities.
Lush Oatifix Fresh Face Mask (£6.95)
This baby right here is the icing on the cake to clear the skin. Not only does this product smell amazing, it is also completely handmade and edible (I advise against doing so) and leaves the skin feeling nourished, clean and plump.
Johnson’s Baby Soothing Naturals Nourishing Lotion (£2.50)
Yes, that is right, the same brand we used as wee babies is the same brand we should be using in adulthood. This is the one moisturiser that I swear by, it has the perfect balance of moisture whilst leaving the skin looking hydrated and not oily.
Dirty Works Facial Oil (£3)
Now this bad boy is probably Earth’s best creation yet, not only can you pick it up for £3 from Sainsbury’s, but this product lasts a life time and is best to use when added in to your foundation or on the skin before you go bed. A couple of drops is all you need!
Lush Bubble Gum Lip Scrub (£5.50)
Trying to tackle chapped lips needs more than just lip balm in the winter. This product removes all the dead skin, leaving the lips ready for a quick coat of lip balm, lipstick, and a cheeky kiss.
Vaseline Lip Therapy (£1.20)
This is the product we have all used at least once in our lives and is something that we should continue to use to protect our lips from that harsh winter air. This product can be found in practically any store and is well worth buying!
MAC Fix + (£17.50)
This mist is a little on the expensive side but it is most definitely one of the best hydrating fixing sprays that leaves the skin looking rejuvenated. Yes, this product retails for £17.50 but trust me it has lasted longer than some of my relationships.
Lush Ocean Salt Face and Body Scrub (£14.95)
There is no point taking care of the face if the body is all dry and wrinkly! This scrub is great to use on the body, it removes all of the dead skin and leaves the skin feeling brand new.
Body Shop Body Butter (£6.00)
After a good scrub, hydrating your body just as much as your face is important in the winter. This product sells in several amazing flavours and keeps the skin feeling nice and moisturised, removing all signs of ashy knees and elbows.
There you have it! A complete guide to the beauty essentials for winter. Holla! at your girl if this helped you!!
